Hello Everyone,
Our year & a half wait is over, we got our car and we love it (the wife and I) the only problem so far is other people asking questions every time we stop anywhere. Sometimes we don’t have 30 min to answer questions. Some drivers almost run off the road trying to get a look at her. But overall we are so happy to have received our little smart car. We are in Oklahoma so we went to Jackie Cooper in Tulsa to pick up the car and we drove it back. Was truly amazed how good the car handled going down the turnpike 70, 75 MPH.
We have the Passion Coupe, black & white.

Here in NJ, I have not had that many ask about my little car. There are more of the little cars now than before and will probably be a lot more eventually. Perhaps it was like the Mini when it was first sold and now no one really thinks about them.

yes a year and a half did fly by.....didn't think one should do 75mph during break in,so that's good to know...have fun

Welcome aboard! If you want to cut out some of the face-time with the curious, ask the dealer for the brochures - they are card-stock, 5x8 folded, with lots of info on them. Give those out after a friendly "howdy - sorry, don't have a lot of time to talk" type of thing. But get used to it - I have had mine now since the beginning of August, and still get questions nearly daily, unless I restrict my driving to/from work (and sometimes then, too).
As long as it stays friendly, there could be worse things, though...
