Hello from a Smart Roadster in germany...

Hello everybody.

Even if I'm not from the U.S. I thought it might be funny to say hello to all the other Smart fancy guys on the other side of this planet.

I'm driving a Smart Roadster Coupé built in 2003 (so yes, its one of the early, leaking, not perfectly built ones), but i love it.
It's pure fun and if you consider the 50 miles per gallon and the 60$ taxes per year......i dunno what else you might want.


So, maybe the day comes i can be useful in here and til that day comes...lets talk about an obsession on 4 wheels.

Oh, by the way, I'm german...so if you find some mistakes and you definitely will one day, please don't take it too hard on me.

Hi Joker your English is excellent so don't worry.
You are very welcome on here, I am from Britain and own a roadster as well an 04 blue/black with a boot, not the coupe.
You will find everybody friendly on here and they have a lot of fun with their smarts even though they are fairly new to them, some great piccies in the gallery and if you see "my scoa gallery" under someones name and picture, you can click on it and see their pictures of their cars, it is a great feature I have not seen anywhere else.

Hi HGB, can you post me over some of your really cheap fuel please, over here in Britain we are paying about 90p or about $2 a liter, not a gallon, and it has dropped a lot since the summer, by about 40p or 80cents a liter.
The man really knows how to make us pay for having a car over here, that is why smarts and small cars in general are so popular over here.

Premium (93) is $1.79 here in Argos, IN. It's less as you approach the bigger cities.
