Hello Smarts!

Just here to introduce myself. I've been reading the forum for a bit now and oh the wonderous things I have learned! I know I'll have quuite a wait for my Smart but well worth it to be sure. I've alredy made the three hour drive to the Indianapolis Smart Center 3 times (Ok well I have family in Indy). The first time down was with my sister and I fell in love with the little car! The second time down was with my somewhat skeptical Husband, new convert. The last time was with my 18 year old son (no, Andy that's going to be my car! Go get your own). Are there many 1507's looking in? Life is Good! woohoo:woohoo

Welcome 99, Your in good company here.I`m in for a little bit longer wait being a 1542 but it`s worth it . There is always the orpan list if you`d rather get your smart somewhat sooner than later.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I too am on an orphan list (in the 60's) so far the Indy dealership hasn't had any. That's OK though, since I'm in my Monte until the end of November this year. It's nice to see the two of you are from Mn. My brother in law is up that way as well, great place to visit.

Agent 99, We're 1507 also, here in south central Indiana and waiting. There are two that I know of now in Bloomington. I guess we'll just have to wait it out.

so you live in South Bend? glad you were 'assigned' to Indy. you'll love the people here. Max, Walter, Matt and Company are the best!

i'm about 10 minutes from smart center of indianapolis and feel really lucky. i see so many people coming from long distances and i'm just fortunate to be close by.

yes, life IS good! you're slightly ahead of us. we're a "1536" but hope to get the wife an 'orphan' soon and i'll have to wait for mine in 12+ months.

Nice to meet you Jeepster55, and so sweet that you'll be letting your wife have the 1st Smart, I'm sure if you keep up on any HunnyDo list that she'll let you take it out to play.
