Hello from snowy North Ohio!

Hi Everyone, Im new to this site, I followed a link over and just signed up. Wanted to cast my vote on a Smartie get together some where in Ohio Amish county later this spring. Im on many of the other Smart sites, knowledge is power. "Milo" arrived on the first of May and I have to say this is the most fun IVE had driving in a long time, just passed 8000 miles. This is the first car I have purchased in nearly twenty five years. I really like leasing, a new car every two years whats not to like. Smart however doesent have a leasing program Sooo. he's mine. I'm very happy to have him. I mentioned the snow, well were on the verge of setting a record for the month of January. the old record is 42.6 in. set back in 1978 the year of the blizzard. We are now approaching 60 in.with two and a half months to go,looks like there may be a seasonal record in the offing as well. Not a lot snow in some areas I know, but in a metropolitan setting like Cleveland its a whole lot of snow and Ive driven Milo to work every day. The only thing I would change about my Smart is the traction control. It is a little disconcerting,it wont let you spin the drive wheels, with snow on the road over eight or ten inches deep its a slow go.It would be nice if we could turn it off temporarily. I just wanted to say Hi to everyone ILL check in again soon. Happy Motoring and Stay warm! Roadapple

Hi Roadapple and greetings from Akron where the snow has been deeper than I can remember in decades perhaps. I'm still waiting for my smart car, sometime this spring I sure hope to be driving it. I'm very glad to hear that your managing to drive your smart all through this endless winter.

Greetings from the west side (Lakewood). I also drive my Smart (KillerBee) everyday. It has been fun and has not let me down. I added a set of snow tires and the little bugger really goes in the snow.
I am with you on the issue of the traction control. There are times that I wish that I could turn it off.

Pete
