Greetings fellow smart owners! The weather in L.A. today is just perfect for driving a smart. I own a white smart with the silver tridion. I am gradually customizing it with the help of other smart owners. My smart has the comfort package (leather seats, power steering, auto headlights & wipers, etc.) and the Kenwood radio with Garmin GPS, iPod control, and Sirius satellite radio. I just had the DeCorsa wheels put on it from Smart Madness in nearby Long Beach. The smart is the most fun I've ever had driving a vehicle. I also belong to the So Cal Smarties and I'm looking forward to their "fun runs" and meetings. Have a "smart" day!
Welcome aboard, and congrats on your car. There are a fair amount of great mods to be found on this site (and some of the others, too, but I don't want to drive you off from the best...)
And please, if you do a mod that you don't see here - take pictures, write it up, and post it for the rest of us to drool over!
Today was a perfect day here in L.A. too!! It was brisk in the morning but turned out to be wonderful. I'm just about 8 miles from the state line so technically I'm in Northwest Florida and not Lower Alabama, we still call it L.A.
No leather or comfort in either of mine and don't feel the need for iPod since the Sirius does provide all entertainment needed even though I did just get an email saying they were jacking up prices!! Maybe I'll be canceling one of my subscriptions and just transferring the unit from car to car. I know it's only $2 but it's the principal. Don't jack up prices in these times!
