I reserved my smart car back in march 2007, & finalized it back in november 2007.

I Just picked up my smart car on tuesday from the Sarasota dealer.
Yeah no more waiting. LOL

I love it, it shifts find and the transmission is good.

What were the doc fees like from the Sarasota dealer? Any other information about them?
I reserved in June (so 2 months later than you) and I'm supposedly working with the same dealer.. any information you have would help.. PM me or whatever! - Michael

I'm not sure what the doc fees where, but there was no hassles, no one trying to push any other options and I just recieved a very nice letter in the mail from my sales consultant.

Our fees at Wilde Jaguar/Smart Center were:
Pre-Delivery Service fee 489.50
Electronic Registration Filing Fee 24.00
Lead Acid Battery Fee 1.50
Florida New Tire Fee 4.00

One fine dealer

Agreed.... we pickuped at the Tampa dealer but we're using the Sarasota Dealer for everything else.
