hi there. I'm a smartlover from the netherlands. own a smart since day one (in europe about 1998)
I am looking for a way to take my trek ex9 with me. anyone an idea, besides buying the very expensive smart carrier?

Welcome. I'm not sure about your model but I've put the passenger seat down in the 451 and broke down my roadie by removing the wheels and seatpost and it fit. I've never tried transporting my S-Works hardtail (I'm an old school XC rider) but I'm sure it would fit the same way. But, that just works for you and your bike.

Welcome Nederlander, from a former Expat. Lived in Haarlemmermeer for quite a few years. Had a 1988 Austin Mini, but wanted the smart when it came out. Now I'm back in Texas and finally have the smartie!!

So mickeypriem, where do you ride your Fuel EX9? It is a pretty nice ride. For the rest of the smarties, not as nice as our smarts, though.

I want to visit Holland some day because I hear it is so bike friendly.
