I gave up on my reservation process, and purchased an orphan. It needed a home, and although I wanted yellow, I ended up with jack black. Color is not worth the wait, and I saved the $400 price increase at the end of the year. I already like the black better than the yellow. The power steering is great, heated cloth seats etc. Only thing missing is leather seats, which I got out of my system when I purchased an Accord hybrid 3 years ago. getting aprox 42 mph so far using only the automatic function, and putting it into N when ever I am approaching a stop light.
I added 2 more 12v sockets inside the glove box to power GPS and XM receiver. Took less than an hour to add them. wired them to the single socket the factory provides. That leaves one output for phone charger.
I painted the front brake calipers red. just to look cool. Ordered a trailer hitch for 149 from Etrailers.com.
Does anyone know what the strange slider clips are for on the side of the panel above the cup holder assembly. It looks like it is set up to accept some sort of accessory, but I am clueless. ( often) Zoomie
