The wife and I are new to the organization. We do, however, already have our reservations for the KC Nationals and are looking forward to the trip. Our 2009 Passion (Max) is ready to go as well. Max came to us on Valentines Day 2009 so is appropriate that he is Red in color.

I have discussed the MDC Cruise Control with a couple of Smart drivers I met at the dealer while getting my car serviced and they really raved about it. I just ordered a kit and anticipate no problems in the install process (an eternal optimist). Also ordered an arm rest as a little additional storage area never hurts.
Just wanted to say hello to all the members and hope to see all in KC.

Welcome to the forums, I'm glad you found us and joined in. Congratulations on your new smart, if you have even half as much fun with Max as I've had with mine, you're in for a real treat.

You're in St. Peters, eh? Then you're apart of the St. Louis Chapter! Be sure to come to one of our meet and eats. Any ideas are always welcome.

Where do I find info on the "meet and eats"? Will certainly look into attending.
We actually purchased our Smart as a Retirement car. Used for running around town, etc. Thought was given that only two people will fit at a time and as my daughter and her kids have moved back in, the wife and I need a little alone time and the Smart has certainly filled that requirement. Not to mention that I smile every time I look at the little guy. Have never had a car do that before. We don't put a lot of miles on the car but it is always ready to go.
Any other info available on the St Louis Chapter?

On the left sidebar, theres the link for Chapters & Regions > Midwest Region. right under that, St. Louis Chapter.

Our get togethers are simple social gatherings. Nothing overly impressive, but a nice get away. I try and throw out an idea about every couple months or so. If you have any suggestions for a place, just give a date and a couple weeks at least, and see who can make it.
