Hi All You Smart Lovers... (Re: request for guidance)

Hello Everyone,
My name is AL and i'm from Toronto. I've thinking of buying a Smart Car, alot lately. It will be my only car, i do mostly city driving with some weekend getaways to my parents about 2hrs west of me. I was wondering if anyone could please tell me, what model seems to handle better on the highway? I love the look of the convertible and have always wanted one, does it handle well on the highway?
Sincerely
AL

Hi there,

I know our motorways are different from your highways in terms of traffic, but our smart copes extremely well. So well, infact that we are off to eastbourne for the 3rd time in 5 months in our smart tomorrow. Eastbourne is 500 miles away from Edinburgh!

While all smarts are quite highway-capable, some in the US like the ride of the Brabus a bit better, coming at a higher overall cost.

The Americans to your south also are marketed exclusively with the 71hp gasoline engine; while the diesel is available in Canada with better mileage, there are those who might not appreciate the lower available horsepower.

I love my cabriolet!

I love my 08 passion cabrio and it's the only car I drive (but it's not the only car I own!)

To be in the buying mode again for what is available currently, I'd have to go with the Brabus-- I've heard nothing but goods things about the ride, due to an enhanced suspension and wheel/tire size combination.

I thought the canadians only got the 451 in petrol and the 450 in diesel? If you can, get a diesel! cracking little engine!

Stick with the 4-wheel models. The two wheel models have already been vandalized! Other than that, they all behave REAL well!

My cabrio does great @ 115 kph. I often put the windows up to lower the wind noise. It's much quieter with the top up and because the top has an inner liner, it looks classy.

On city streets @ 60-80 kph it's a blast with the top & windows down.

Enjoy your quest!

Sorry to go off topic, but...

I thought in America, you drove by MPH like we do in the UK?
