Just got our new Passion and we love it! People's reactions are truly amazing.

I have a stupid question - how do we stop the radio from coming on every time we start the car?

Hi, Bud ** Congrats and welcome. Don't have my car yet, but here's what I saved from someone else who had this problem. Seems unnecessarily complicated as to the engineering, but I hope it helps:

"If you do not want the radio to come on when you start up- here's what you have to do... Turn the key off, the radio is now silent, now push the on-off button-the radio is playing. Now push the on-off button again, radio is now silent and will not come on when you start the car. If you do not play the radio the next time you start it, the radio will stay off. If you play the radio while you drive, then you must repeat the process."

If you turn the radio off before you turn off the car it won't come back on. Leave it on when you turn off the car it will come back on when you turn on the key.

Tried it! Doesn't work! Don't care because I like the little smartie helping me out by bringing up my music when we start a run! If I'm not in the mood, I know where the button is.

Hi - thanks for the info. I tried it and it doesn't seem to work. Weird quirk, i guess i'll get used to it.
