Hi from Connecticut:

I'm set to pick up my Cabriolet on Saturday, so I'll 'join the club' then.

Am struggling with all the usual issues -- do I take the warranty (probably going to wait a bit); do I use regular or premium gas (premium seems cheaper in the long run); do I drive it on the highway (of course -- seems like a silly question).

Oh!! Anyone in CT reading this -- Since the SmartCar gets over 40mpg highway (according to the EPA), it's exempt from CT sales tax. Effectively, price just went down about $800!!!

Just reserverd mine today. I am up in the Hartford area. I know about the sales tax exempt and out town is possibly doing a no-property tax bill on cars that qualify for the tax exempt status. That would be a double bonus!!

HSterk -- I'm in Greenwich. If I see a Red/Black/Black Cabrio, the first thing I'm gonna do is look in the mirror -- it it's not ME, then It must be you!!!! We got the same car, it seems, don't you love it!!

Karl -- I was assigned to White Plains -- probably would have preferred Fairfield (since it's so close to Pepe's), but the folks in WP are nice.

I saw a Red and Black smart this afternoon, up by the Town Hall in Darien i was in my Yellow And Silver Cabrio. Was it one of you?

Limey: Sorry, it was not me. but I did drive thru Darien via the Post Road on Friday.

Prospero: My dealer is Fairfield.

I went to WP Smart Center on Saturday to get a Smart Hat and a luggage net. They are linked with Ray Catena Lexus, and they have a super organized and clean setup. They share the Smart service with Lexus and they are really helpful in the parts department there.
