Hi Everyone

I'm obviously new to the forum, and the SMART Car. I saw one in Niceville one day and thought it was the coolest little car. I LOVE small cars because I can't drive big vehicles very well. I'm looking to buy a Cabrio(if anyone's selling let me know). I live 4 hours from the closest dealership, and I don't make a lot of money, but if the car is as good on gas as people say I'll only have to fill it up once a month!

Hello 'hugmebunches', and welcome!
Lots of reading in the forum, including some experiences from owners who live far from their Dealer.
About filling the car once a month, it obviously depends on your driving. My experience is that I fill twice a month, but it's less than $30 each time...

I have the Smart Fortwo Pure. It did not cost a lot of money. I bought mine because I little cars. I was into micro and mini cars before I found out about the Fortwo. For me, going to and from work is a 15 mile round trip. I fill up once per month. With prices of gas going lower, it only cost $17 to fill up with premium. It goes a long way. I am closer than a 4 hour drive to my dealer but it is still far away. As the above post stated, it depends how far one goes to and from work. In another post about cold weather and mpg, it depends on how cold it is where one works too.

Thanks ya'll. I usually drive about 2 miles to and from work. Occasionally I have to drive 45 minutes to Niceville for school, but I usaully stay in town. since I live in Florida, it doesn't get very cold, but it does get in the 30s. I have a '94 Pontiac Sunbird that I fill about once every 3 to 4 weeks, and it only costs $25 to fill it from empty.
