I am new to this site. ordered a passion white with silver cell. should be getting it within a month.
I was reading the topics on this site and am curious are individuals getting the upgraded stereo system ?. The outcome seems to be mixed from what I have read the sound quality is not as good. My main purpose is to use my Ipod also I am interested in setting up a (removable) navigation system.
Anyone out there with recommendations or suggestions.
GPS - Be careful using the suction cup mount on the windshield. If the suction cup mount mark is noticed on the windshield there is a tendency for break-ins because they think the GPS is in the car. Make sure you keep your windshield clean of any suction cup marks.

The iPod input plug is in the glove box but there is no slot to allow the cable to extend to the car interior with the glove box cover closed. The smart mechanic where I purchased my coupe said that people work around this by snaking the iPod cable behind the radio and into the little cubby hole to the right of the steering column, a perfect place to rest an iPod. I'm just not sure how physically to thread the cable between the inside of the glove box and the spot where it can enter the space next to the steering column. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out though - it sounds like a good solution.
I have a Garmin Nuvi 660 that I purchased a while back to use with rental cars. It is a phenominal unit and gets highest marks from Consumers Reports and Amazon. In Calif. windshield suction cup mounting isn't permitted so I went on Garmin's site and found a perfect adapter for mounting on the air conditioning vent and so far it has worked very well in numerous vehicles - even the rear center counsel of my Mercedes ML500 where we had another another couple join us on a week long trip and they navigated from the back seat. COOL!
