Hi, glad I joined!

I joined today, used search and instantly found an installation for the clock and tach that I purchased off eBay. Easy, easy install that took all of 30 minutes, including the time to make the cutouts with the dremel tool.

Welcome. Tell us a little about your car. How long have you had it? Did you do anything special to it yet? (beside the tach/clock) What color? Coupe/Convertible?

Do you have any questions about your car if you are a brand new owner? A lot of the frequent posters here have owned their smart for 2 years now and a lot of us have disassembled our cars inside/out - front/back.

I have a blue Passion coupe with silver tridion and beige interior. The tach/clock combo is the only thing I've done to it after buying it in the fall of 2008.

The fuel gauge not reading full after a fillup is annoying. Had it reset by the dealer but it still does it. Occasionally I get an ding-ding after turning it off and getting out that is just like the lights on alarm but there won't be anything to cause it. If I re-insert the key and take it to on and then back off it goes away. Makes me think I've got an electrical gremlin.

My next thing to install will probably be cruise control.
