Welcome to the largely North American view of the Smarts! Are you the proud owner of a newer 451 or a 450 from the first 10 years that Smarts were on the roads of the world?

If you have a 451, I'd love to find out what details are different from the US models. Same as European? I don't even know if there are differences within Europe except, perhaps, for left/right side driving.

For instance, the US cars have a Tire Pressure Monitoring System as standard (as required by law) but the European instrument cluster electronics I got hold of doesn't even have an LED there. There are rear fog lamps available in Europe but there's not even a wire in the harness for the control button in the US version. Daytime running lights were available in Canada in '08 but not in the US until '09.

Fun stuff!

Then there's the whole 450 series over the years.

Hey, mate: Welcome aboard!

I had to do that, just to sound like an old pro; I think you are the newest memeber excluding myself.

Now to the meat of my post: do you, well, not exactly down under but close enough, have access to tech pubs, diagrams, service bulletins, etc., given the strong non-US presence of Smart around the world.
