Hi from new panda in SF

Greetings:
Picked up my black & white passion in San Francisco this past Tuesday and just found this forum.

I've been driving a v8 2 seater t-bird for the past few years and find the smart refreshing, kinda like a super charged go-kart, but oddly enough I don't feel like I'm in a tiny car when I'm driving... It amuses me to watch others drive it away (and just about everyone I know wants to take it around the block or farther) and see how little it looks from the outside.

I reserved on 4/20/07, after deciding to move to the city from the suburbs - figured this was a perfect city car - got an email to configure in Nov 07 and then heard nothing until 5/19/08 - when the dealer emailed me saying: "When do you want to pick it up?"

Was a little worried about it fitting in the garage... but the smart tucks in just fine behind my t-bird, much to the amusement of my neighbors who share a parking lift in the other half of our garage.

Since this is my first post, I can't post a picture of it in the garage yet, but did upload one to my gallery, hopefully you'll check it out.

Welcome! I just picked up my smart on Tuesday at Smart Center SF too! Its black on black.

I've been trying a different position in the garage each time I park too!
