Question about the mpg...does it get better over time? I see so many different mpg's posted by owners.

Hello LaRose,
First, we don't know the price of the 09, my dealer said at tops, they would most likely add 3% to the 08 Price to cover the new features.
Second, MPG is a varying thing. ALL Cars have a break in milage where they get CRAPY MPG. My Kia Rio took 10k miles before it broke out of the 28 average MPG to get up to the 31 average MPG. Also depends on driving circumstances.
Lady on here drives 2 miles to work one way and complained about her crappy 26 or 28mpg. Well, if you read on the manuel, which is available from Evil's site, it has about what causes bad MPG.
Hills, short trips, driving like mad person, and so on. Normal common sense things. I figure, since I left my lead foot with my Mustang back in 1999, I drive more conservatively and get great MPG. As far as I can tell from lots of posts that I have read over the many months, the tranny breaks in about 3000 miles. If it is breaking in at that time, then MPG is probably going to be getting better at that time. But, since I don't have my car for the next 3 months. I don't know for sure.
Good luck and enjoy reading the forums. TONS of info on this site.
Happy Motoring.
