Hood

I have a new 2009 Passion Coupe. Initially Black, but "two-toned" to reflect my Wake Forest colors. Before & after pictures can be seen two posts from now.
I had a wreath over the grill during Christmas. When I picked it up at the body shop after the new paint job, I noticed the wreath had scratched the hood panel. The body shop cannot repair, so I need a new panel, but don't know where to find one.

I know it's not a hood. I only used that term because I saw it on anothere forum thread about body panels. The color is 2009 Black. I want to find a new one.

Try using Claybar and see if it helps. Black is the hardest color to work out scratches. It shows every little flaw. You can also try some of the waxesbut the marks will still be there, just not as noticable. I have one on my door from the Spyder costume. I learned to live with it.

The color goes all the way through... They must be some real deep scratches that you can't take them out...?
