How do I Choose between 2 Orphans?

Hi I'm Cheryl - been waiting six long months - just got call there are 2 orphans available Problem is one is yellow (my favorite color choice) but without comfort package (sure thought heated seats with Chicago winters would be ideal!). The yellow Smart is smiling at me from one side of the showroom, while the white Cab is sitting on the other side showing off her comfort package very seductively....what do I do?!! They tell me yellow is discontinued for 2009! OH NO! I couldn't wait for the call, but never expected to have to choose between two...Thanks for advice!!

See what you can work out price-wise with the dealer to get heated seats into the yellow dream-car!

After driving mine for a month, I wouldnt give up the comfort package for anything! Everyone is surprised to see leather seats in it and REALLY surprised when I say theyre heated. I like the power steering and never needing to turn on my headlights or wipers. It really comes down to....do you want a cabrio or not. Yellow panels are still available

Very tough decision indeed!

I love my yellow/black cab with the comfort package. I agree with the previous reply about trying to get the panels switched. The yellow is by far the coolest car on the road. I would suggest though to get the cab as it is very fun in the summer. Both of our Smarts have the comfort package and the heated seats are great in the winter in NW Indiana. They are warm before I leave the parking lot at work. Maybe if they won't switch the panels, they can give you a good deal on a set of yellow ones....

Its much easier and cheaper to get yellow panels than it is to retrofit a comfort package into a yellow car. Buy the white one and buy some yellow panels!

For just the heated seats?

And I haven't checked the rumor control thread - I thought ordering yellow panels might be difficult without a yellow VIN.

That's my understanding, however I haven't gotten it from smartUSA or a dealership personally.
