I was looking for info on oil filters and came across the SCOA site. Thought that I'd say "howdy". This site may well be very useful in the future. We had our basic smartfortwo delivered in mid October. After the first 1000 mile in town break in, we were off on the daily commute. So far, so good. In that I was looking for filters, one can figure out that the 5000 mile oil change is about due. I bought some Mobil 1 and figured it might be too soon for aftermarket filters.... guess I'll have to bite the bullet and get a dealer filter til the warrenty is up. Still getting the "look" driving back and forth to work.....pretty funny. Had a guy blow by on the left lane and then let off the gas to come abeam for better look. He gave a thumbs up and blasted away in the monster that he had..... o well.... life with a smartcar. See you all around.
