My red/black Cabrio is at the dealer in Knoxville and waiting for pick up. I'll be hitching a ride with a friend from Nashville on Wednesday and should have my little buddy in the driveway under a cover by Wednesday night.

Having to "fall back" on Saturday night has only prolonged the wait. Darn it.

I got one of the last '08's so it's not the Rally Red. It's actually more of a Gator orange. Not being a Florida fan, I started out a little disappointed. But it's really growing on me, especially since I know it's very visible on the road.

Since we were in Italy in `07 when we made the decision to get on the list, and the car is kind of a tomato red, we've named out little Smartie "Roma."

I guess since I'm a newbie, I can't post links or pix yet, so I'll put one up soon.

Kristen at Smart Knoxville was great to work with. It's been a great first week!
