I have my smart as of 4-5-08

Hello. Bear with me as I am new to this forum thing. I am 50 years old and use my computer for email and the web. I picked up my smart Saturday in Cherry Hill NJ, but I live in South East PA. I first saw the smart in Germany in 2002 in a smart dealership there and always wanted one. Now I see it sitting in my driveway and I can not believe it's here. Everywhere I go with it people come out of the wood work. They are screaming and smiling from their cars. I have had people follow me, on foot, running and begging I stop. I must admit I did not expect this. I have a 1974 Karmann Ghia and folks stop to chat with me about the car, but nothing like this. I guess we are all Vanguards with our smarts. Great to hear! I love that part of PA, and expect to be driving down there some myself when mine arrives. It will be quite a treat to drive down to Philly in the smart rather than taking the train all the time from NYC. And then getting around the area will be nice, too. I haven't had a car in 20 years.

I am in the ball park re age, 50 and counting, lol, and cannot believe i am even considering buying one of these little things! but i am! what prompted you? convinced you? gas out here in ca is almost $4 a gallon.

how do u like driving it? whats with the short warranty? i have so many questions, not sure where to go with them. i am shopping for a dealer near me, but would sure like to hear from someone who has one.
