What a nice Community!
I was looking around here sometimes, decided now to register along with an order I signed today for a nice black/white turbo Cabriolet. Delivery will be around second week of June.

My thoughts exactly; order the third week in April, have your car in June. How do they do it?

Let's see, I could place an order in Germany, wait a month, fly over on vacation, pick-up my non-US ready smart, try to....Ah I think I would be better off just waiting for mine?

They told me that production date has already been set for this peticular car, it was possible though to "tweak" the extras in order to make them fit my needs. Normally it would take around 13 to 15 weeks.

Q: resident 'dumba$$' here......so are they still making the 450's and if so, WHERE? is smartville only making 451's?

don't get me wrong, i'm happy for "GermanPulse" for getting it so soon, but are they putting the Euopeans before everyone else when ordering?

again, as i have been for the past 3 months, i'm soooooo confused
