I, for one, would love to identify a reliable shop here in Miami where I could take our smart once its 4-year extended warranty expires. The closest dealer is 40 miles away.

So far, the smart has been nearly flawless.

Know it, drive it, own it, and then it becomes an extension of you. Keep reading the posts and repair/modification threads and you see the passion for our cars. Come to Nationals in June and meet some of the enthusiasts and other modification vendors.

I agree we will need some non-dealership maintenence when our warranties start expiring. Now is a great time to get to know this group and our needs. I'm hoping to find one in Charlotte by that time.

Second all the above. It's a wonderful machine. It would be great to have interested, reliable independents to turn to for tasks that are either beyond my capabilities or that I don't have time to do myself. I hope you decide to become one of them.
