Immigrant, sort of...

Picked up an orphan Passion from Towbin in Las Vegas two weeks back -- blue/black, leather, comfort package. This wouldn't be a big deal other than that I'm in northern Utah. Yes, there's a closer dealer (SmartCenter Lindon) but it actually was more convenient for me to get it in Vegas than here, mostly due to having friends there and having somewhat limited public-transit service here on weekends.
Put on about 2000 miles on it since then, mostly in driving to and from Las Vegas (and quite a bit of, well, just driving around. How am I supposed to save money on gas when I keep taking the long way home? ). Had to go back last weekend in an attempt to get the rear washer sprayer fixed (didn't get there early enough for them to get the work done before their service department closed, but I had a nice visit with friends in town so it was nonetheless well worth the trip).
The sprayer (or rather, the hose to the sprayer) had sprung a leak from ice in the line -- the washer fluid (either stock, or put in by the dealer) wasn't up to the single-digit temperatures we had last week. I don't really blame the dealer, since it never gets that cold there. Apparently it's a 5 hour job to get at it, involving removal of most of the front end of the car...
Still, I'm having way too much fun with this thing

...and of course, if I encounter a motorcycle, it's, "Mine has air conditioning. I win."*

*presumably, if I'm encountering a motorcycle, it's probably a bit warm out.
