Interior pix? Test drive? Central IL owners?

I have Smart envy with a pang of caution.

I'm new to forum thing but 63 y/o. I've been around too many blocks. I love what I've seen so far. I want to at least see some interior/storage shots. I've browsed some of the gallery pix but not found good interior shot yet. From some of those, I've wondered if the rear storage is different on different models?

My other concern is a test drive. I've never ordered a car that I haven't driven and the nearest dealer is over 100 miles away. Do they have show room models available to test drive. Are any of you owners near the U of I or Danville, IL?

The storage area is slightly bigger on the hardtops than the cabrio. We have both. The floor space on both is the same its up higher that the cabrio's top eats up more room. Its about 26-27 inches deep. Lots of room for suitcase, etc. If you get the chance to test drive, make it as long as possible. A 3 min. drive around the block wont tell you much. Try out the paddle shifters to get on the expressway. Most of all...get one!

Every dealer I've been to has had a car to test drive. Since you live so far away I would call first and make an appointment if you can. Then that way you will know you have plenty of time for a test drive with the dealer.
