I was at San Jose smart today and they were unloading a bunch of smarts. No red or gray smarts, but I did get to see the red interior on one of the cars. It's really nice and definitely a deeper red than the 08 red.

I did have to laugh because when I was there a couple walked onto the lot and the wife said to the husband "here it is." I thought from the way she was talking that they were there to look at their smart that just arrived. However I heard her talking to a salesperson and she said "oh you mean theses are all spoken for?", I just laughed to myself and thought "get in line honey!"

So when did you order and what was your DDE?

I almost went to San Jose smart yesterday to look at my car, but it was too dark by the time I got out of work.. I'll definitely be taking a camera with me tomorrow

Well that gives me an idea when I might expect my smart. I configured mid Oct., so my guess of a February arrival sounds about right then especially since my DDE is saying early Jan '09 to early March '09 (of course my date keeps moving back one day every day).
