New member. Reserved a black & tan in early June.

What I really want is a turbo diesel Smart, but I am not interested in paying $25,000 for one from Canada. I may find a used diesel engine and swap it, at some point, though...

I saw the first prototype Smart at the 1992 or 1995 K-Show (plastics show) in Dusseldorf and have wanted one ever since.

I am 6' 8" tall and I have more head room in the Smart than I do in my 560 SEC.

I drove one around Columbus, Ohio during the road show, and I noted that very high engine rpms are attainable if you are in "manual" mode and forget to shift.

Best Black & Tan I've had in a long time was in an Irish bar "up the street" in Málaga (of all places!).
