Got a call yesterday from our local dealer saying they had a cabriolet orphan for us to look at. We went to them today and found out that it was red (orange) and didn't have a couple of things we really wanted. When we told them we were going to hold out for a blue one (just like the one we'll configure when our time comes), they said, "We have this blue one over here that's also an orphan. Would you like it?" Well, it's EXACTLY the configuration we planned on putting together (with a couple of extras that were after market things we were considering anyway).
Long story a little shorter, we are now the proud owners of a blue/silver cabriolet. We saw it for the first time this afternoon and drove it home a couple of hours ago. Couldn't be more pleased that this all came together so quickly and so perfectly. We just put in our reservation 2 months ago (to the day), and now we have one. I'll post pictures later.
