Leasing a new 2012 Pure model

Leased a 2012 Smart car with only a entry radio and air conditioning. $1040 down and payments of $135 monthly. 60,000 miles for 3 years. Averaging 41mpg the first 911 miles since 4/2/12. So far so good. Since my golf clubs fit in the rear with the passenger seat in the upright position, I leave my 2009 MBZ E350 at home. If only I could drive it on the golf course. Round trip to the golf course is 40 miles per day. Yes I play daily if at all possible and God willing.

I believe the promotion is on until the end of April. For the $99 lease, it's for 10,000 miles annually. I paid an additional $30 monthly for 20,000 miles per year. I'll turn in the car right before the Warranty runs out at 50,000 miles.

I'm a scratch golfer when no one is watching. 14 when playing with friends, damn it.

I hate that effect, but it goes the other way for me... I can get very close to par when I'm playing with someone, but I'm closer to +10 when on my own...
