Got reservation in May, so I guess it will be late 2009 before delivery.

Or possibly longer, depending on your zip, the phase of the moon and your hat size. Not sure anyone can predict their actual wait at this point.

I reserved about a month ago and have been debating if doing a rain dance and an SUV sacrifice would bring my date closer.

I've been hearing that there is currently a 18-24 month wait on the car. At this point.. I'm expecting my Fortwo to be a 2010 model.

18-24 months wait? Wow, that's going to be hard to take. Makes sense, though, what with the dramatic rise in gas prices... More folks seeking high fuel mileage and driving up the demand.

That's what I'm hearing. I know that's hard to swallow.. but that's just what I've been hearing. I'm going to probably be meeting with Kevin Crosby at Smart Center Easton (Columbus, Ohio) mid-next week to borrow the demo Fortwo they have to put on display at a car show. I'll check with him about the current wait time and post on here what I found out

Since I got my orphan, I released my reservation to the dealer so there will be a Red/Black Leather Loaded Passion Coupe in Rhode Island VERY soon!
