I have finally joined up.... Smart Car of America.
Would you belive that I don't own a Smart...well not a real one ( at the moment ) ...BUT I have atleast 40 + models and have collected well over 60 + Smart Car brochures, every book and info since the Smart Car first appeared. It has a magic appeal to me....but reading the American Smart Car scene....it's certainly taken a hold over their. I would love to see the enthusiasm here in OZ that you share back their. But I'll be reading of all your adventures with your Smarts. I guess that will have to do...until I make my purchase.

Gidday again...from OZ.
Many thanks to all those that gave me a very warm "Smart" welcome to my first email....
I wish that here in OZ...the enthusiasm was as much as back their in the USA. I see one Smart perhaps a week and that is usually the same one. But in saying this ...I did see 3 black Smarts towing billboards...... all 3 in a row. They looked great. Perhaps the town that I live in is not to "Smart". I have visited a major Smart centre and was told that they are selling....but gave me no indication on just how many. They had 4 new ones on display. The dearest one that I have seen advertised is a 2008 Smart Four Two Pulse with just 20 ks on the clock...for $30.990 Australian Dollars. I would think that would be the exception though.... their is alot of newer ones around the $20.000 dollar mark.
