HA HA HA Back in the 70's I pumped regular in my cousin's Z-28 that I borrowed. The next day I was busted! OOPS He thought the engine would need to be rebuilt!

...the bride runs 89 oct in her other car (Pasion) all the time...today's fill up resulted in a 42.6mpg...I wonder what 87 will yield?

You could realy mess with her MPg by moving Fuel between the two cars. A Gallon in this week, a gallon out next week. It could be fun.

I rented a car in Poland a few years ago that required diesel. When I went to fill it up, I panicked when I realized:

1- They do not "color code" fuel pump handles in Poland
2- "Diesel" in Polish isn't spelled anything like it is in English

I scratched my head for several moments, walked over to the nice person inside the attached mini-mart and smiled as I held up my credit card.

When I got in the car I crossed my fingers, because I still couldn't be sure the person who helped me understood what I was trying desperately to communicate.
