A pure is about 13395 with a/c How much do you plan on putting down???? How long do you plan to finance for?????? We need these questions answered to give you estimate. Is your credit great, good, or fair????

my credit is great, payed off loans in half the time, money wise i can probably put down a small starting amount. just wanted to know whether a 13k dollar car would have a rough monthly payment of 500 per month or something like that. basically an estimate coming from someone that is making payments, i work per contract so as you can tell i am also calculating for the time were they say "contract ends this day. no more renewals", and i have to wait for my company to give me another contract

You should look at the Smart usa web site and use the financing tools they offer for use. I did that when doing a guesstimate on the payments on my pure based on a 5 year loan, and a dp of combined $1800 (Trade in and cash) after a cost of 13.585 with the above mentioned down payment of $1800, and a 8% rate the monthly came out to 260.25.
Do call your insurance company for a what if quote as well so you can get the whole picture of the cost of owning one of these cars. It be wise thing to do.

My credit is good, not stellar. My CU gave me an APR of 4.79, and financed for 72 months. Lord knows, I don't plan to take six years to pay it off, but I do prefer to make weekly payments and that came out to $70.59/week. The CU gives no penalty for paying ahead, and I should be clear title at the end of 2011, or 182 weeks not 312. I had no down payment, and the ticket was something like $18,865 before tax, dealer prep, and so on.

I made one monthly payment of . . .

I made one monthly payment of about $16,875 and 0% down, 0% interest.
Really cut into the savings account however!
But it's nice to be out from under any car payments, too.

If you can join a Credit Union, do so. Given the financial markets, the Credit Union industry is solid, well capitalized, and most do not have any of the issue(s) that are facing our major banks. You are probably eligible through your work, school or even your community.

I put $1500 down on a fully loaded Cab ($20,350 otd) and my payments are $336/mo. I have the savings to pay it off and I should, but my interest rate is <1% (Adj)!!! My CUs start rate for a new auto loan is 3.25% (up to 84mo) and most CUs have money to loan....

I would urge anyone to look into a Credit Union. Not just for an auto loan, but checking, savings and other financial services.

I financed 100% of a smart passion ($17,050.00) for 60 months at 5.25%

Payments are $322 per month.

The lower price of the pure would be about $280 per month using the same terms.
