MP3 player

I have read the owners manual and I still have no idea what type of connection I need to connect my MP3 player to the outlet in the glove box. Will it play through my car radio? Please help. I am planning a 5hr drive and I would really like to listen to "my music" Thanks everybody

You need an "aux" cable (Radio Shack, etc., $6 or so); one end goes in the jack in the glove box, the other in the headphone port of your mp3 player. Set the radio source (SRC button) to Aux. Adjust mp3 player volume as needed. Good to go.

if connecting to ipod, use a proper ipod connector for better sound quality.

Eskargo, where did you get a cable with those two ends? I have an ipod end and a usb end. Didn't know they made the ipod end and the kind that you use on the headphones! Cool! I really need to get out more!

If you've got the cash just get a proper iPod dock installed. Keeps your iPod/Phone charged and lets you play it.
