For those of you who . . .

For those of you who choose (or chose) not to line the pockets of Aqqle for an MP3 player, all you need for the hook up is a double male 3.5mm cable. It plugs into your glove-box jack and into the mp3 player's headphone jack. Radio Shack probably would be your best bet if you're not tech-savvy. I made my own from bits and pieces I had laying about. . . took 20 minutes, including the soldering iron heating up.

I'm with you on this one. But, now that I've upgraded my head unit I just have a USB HD connected to play my mp3s.
Never had, needed, nor desired, an iPod. Cell phone either. And, my friends and family rightfully consider me a gadget freak. Those are just two which don't appeal to me.

The Sony Walkman is still around. I remember it was a cassette player that was not cheap. The price came down when other companies produced similar portable cassette players.
$399
$299
The new Sony Walkman with OLED.
