I agree with another poster about the insurance. Maybe your insurance company thought it was a gray market model? Might want to check with them again now that all the safety tests are out and the insurance rating scores. {An 8 and that's supposed to be real good.} I know my insurance went down compared to what I was paying for a Ford Five Hundred. If not then maybe compare with other insurance agencies?

Hello ! Still waiting for mine. They say January 2009, has the dates been accurate ? I saw a post saying "a lot of negativity" What is the general opion of smart ? Is it worth the wait ?

For me: yes! 363 days from reservation to delivery, but 9 years before that!

We need a sticky thread that only includes ways to increase your mpg without all the misc comments from people. Its fun to comment on the threads, but when I want info I hate to read through pages of comments like this one that don't add to my knowledge. Any idea of how to request this or does it exist already?

There already are MPG threads. This thread is a general report about all kinds of issues with the car, good and bad, including MPG, insurance, comfort and sunroof.

BTW, I'm totally surprised by the insurance cost GsG is paying. Mine was exactly the same as a 2004 Toyota Echo. Something's wrong with the company GsG is using.
