I see two at least on a near daily basis, and yes i always stick out my arm with a thumbs up. Check out the mid Atlantic smart sighting thread, and there you will see a lot of sightings in the NOVA area.

As an ex-Wrangler driver, I miss the comaderie of waving to "niche" car owners.
Shoot, I got so excited seeing the blazing yellow/orange (it seemed) FourTwo approaching me in the opposng lane, I forgot where the torch stalk was; while my car was cleaning the windshield I had to resort to a full arm out the window wave.
OK, not very sophisticated, but just how regal is driving the Smart in the first place??
Thanks for the advice, John: can you tell I'm a novice at this?
Smrt Bee, thanks, but I've plans this weekend, but will spot the Mid Atlantic for future 'rallies'.
Driving a Smart shows one really just how lonely and cold is the universe, eh?

Hey, there you are: You, Smrt Bee and the chap I sighted Saturday dispel my paranoia that I'm the only Smart driver in North VA.
