My roofs locked and stuck down

can anyone help me
PLEASE
My roof is fully back, will NOT lock into place at the back, will not lock upon the roll bar - basically its in limbo.
Ive had to put acover over it for tonight.
LOVELY UK WEATHER!!!!

any hints??

Since almost none of us have had our cars long enough to know the answers to questions of this sort, you might be better off on a site with more experienced owners. I suggest Club smart car in Canada. There are some very helpful people there.
