Well, after much agonizing, I finally did it. I traded in my old 91 Mercury Capri convertible for an 08 Cabrio. I absolutely LOVE it! I just brought it home to its new garage today. I'm really happy with it. I bought it slightly used with only 1,900 miles on it. Its gorgeous. I will be looking into obtaining a complete service manual for it. I like to change my own oil and such. I look forward to chatting with other SMART enthusiasts.

I'm actually 2 hrs. south of Tampa. I'm in the Ft. Myers / Naples area.

i've got the same idea about changing my oil. I just got off e-bay a new Brabus and have racked up my first 1000 and feel an oil change is in order. Where to get the filters seem to be a problem thus far. I'd buy a few to have on hand and give it a 5000 mile change or less. Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you can get the Wix or Fram equivalent, it shouldn't be a problem. I used to buy them for my motorcycle at the regular auto parts store.
