New to this forum but not new to smarts

Just a quick note........ I am a Canadian, yes those friendly people to the north of you, maybe you have heard of us, maybe you have not. Smarts began arriving here fall of 2004 and I bought mine April 8th 2005...... since then I have quickly racked up 157,000 kms or approx. 98,000 miles.

I had been maintaining a 3.5 litre/100 km or about 66 miles per US gallon for the first two years that I maintained records on my car but now I just drive it and enjoy it everyday........ I figure I have spent about 2,200 hrs behind the wheel since I got it...... and have been down through New York and Pennsylvania states several times.

Glad to see the excitement on this site for the coming of the 451 gasser to the US. We will also be receiving a similar gasser here. Anyway looks like some reading here to catch up on........ I will post pics of my ride soon as I can......

Welcome to the forums.... it will be folks like you that help and contribute to our knowledge of the new car. We look forward to asking many questions, comparing notes, and swaping lies...ah-- er-- I mean experiances!

Welcome also! We can use some real world info on theses cars (I know yours is a 450 but close enough.) Maybe some Canadian 451 owners will find their way here too.
