Hello to everyone. My Smart (Yellow Passion) is not brand new. We've had it since late September. I signed-up in June of 2007 after returning from Europe and learning of the Smart Reservation Program. I've followed the development of the Smart Car since its first appearance in Automotive News as a concept car many years ago. After seeing one in the flesh, I just had to have one. In spite of my size, I've always loved small cars. My first car was a Corvair and now I have several Lotus cars. Obviously the Smart Car is a great commuter car and a not so great long distance touring car. My wife uses it as her daily commuter in better weather than we're currently experiencing. I've recently added cruise control which makes the car much more Interstate friendly. Besides Lotus cars, my other passion (no pun intended) are motorcycles. I vintage race my 1963 Lotus 23B.
