New-ish member - New car - Orrington Maine

Hi All,

Have been a member for a while but just picked up my Cab yesterday from Smart Center Lynnfield. Did the year wait and since there are no dealers in Maine Smart delivered my car to MA. The whole experience was fine. However, being retired I didn't really enjoy getting up at 5 in the morning to get to the bus station on time. Took the bus to Boston and the dealer sent a runner in a black passion coupe to transport me to the dealership.

Haven't had a microcar since my 70 Honda 600 coupe. That was a great deal of fun but rusted past the door handles in a couple of Maine winters. Been a car nut for a long time currently owning more than my wife would prefer... Will try to take a picture of Max with his older brothers when the sun finally comes out. Current stable consists of Kat a 90 Jaguar XJ-S convertible, Adder a 95 Saab 900se convertible, Gurgie a 01 Audi TT 225Q roadster, Rangie an 02 Range Rover and now Max our 08 Passion Cab silver/black/red oh can't forget Livingston the 99 Winnibago Rialta motorhome (based on a VW eurovan.... Maybe my wife has something there...

The drive home yesterday took about 4 hours mostly interstate. Didn't go over 65 well maybe 70 on a couple of down hills. But I wasn't always looking at the dash. Max drove like a dream. Haven't yet done a refill but appears the 240 or so miles I did took around 6 gals of dino fluid.

How many others out there from Maine?

Looking for excuses to take Max out for a spin... Hey hon what say we go out for pizza....
