Hello all,

New SMART car owner here, well its really its her car. YES, she will also be joining the forums too.

We are in SoCal area (Murrieta/Temecula). We got her car on July 5th and she has been loving the car since. She does have little issues here and there. That is where I come in, I build custom cars and racecars for a living (Mckinney Motorsports), so I will be doing a lot of builds on the car to improve it for her.

I have talked to a lot of my sponsors for our racecars and they are helping me out with the SMART Car. I am installing the KW Full Coil over suspension in it today. I got them shipped over from Germany this week. I will do a full pic by pic and write up on the install. She will do a driver write up on tomorrow.

We are also going to be doing lots of other parts and making new parts for the car too. If any one has any questions feel free to contact me at 951-304-9300.

Will be interested in following your modifications. My wife keeps taking the smart. Luckily we're getting our second in about 5 weeks.

Hello all,

Well the Coil overs did not fit the car. I think they were for the 450, so KW is sending two engineers out to look at the difference and make some new ones for us. We are also going to be making a new swaybar for the car too. Is there any other suspension items you might need? I can ask them when they get to the shop.
