Hi folks,
I'm mostly posting to eliminate that annoying notice "our records indicate..."
But now that I'm here, about me:
- Detroit engineer living in Switzerland (10years)
- co-incidently working for manufacturer of Smart Fortwo steering column!! :O)
- driving an '04 Brabus fortwo coupe (since 12/06)
- got most factory options
- and many other features I've installed, or plan to install
- thinking about also buying a Brabus Roadster Coupe
- would like to import both back to the US when I return (not immediately planned but thinking longer term...)
Looking forward to learning and contributing.

Hello Bob,
Think carefully about bringing a non-US homologated smart to the US: lots of administrative hurdles. And, as far as we, on the forum, know: the only legitimate roadster has been imported on a temporary basis (short term assignment, has to re-export).
Where are you working (location).
