I looked at the European cars for sale here, very nice but I suspect they will be somewhat of an orohan when its time to maintain and repair them...so I signed up and put down my $99 for a Ameriacn version.
Since I am an Environmental Engineer for a 6,000 person company here in Austin its only fitting right?
Does anyone really know how many people are on the list?
Thanks

Last I heard, about 25000 people had their $99 deposits in. About twice the number of the cars they planned to build for the US. I'd really be suprised if they don't sell initially for much higher than MSRP.

The latest published number is now 30,000 reservations at $99 each.
