Greetings from Blackcreek,
not yet reserved the Smart passion . I'd like to wait for the 2009 model and the possibility of getting deisel. These little cars are so cool though. There is a vacationer here in Destin (from New Mexico) who drives a blue fortwo, I have to say it keeps up in traffic really well. I drive a 99 Pontiac Trans Am 30th Anniversary edition-white with blue stripes, blue anodized wheels, the works. While I don't think the Smart will go from 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, or top out at 154 mph, I think it'll be plenty for me and the little family.

BEAVR, If I were you, I would make a reservation now and it should put you in the right place in line to get one of the first 2009 models. If not you can always get your deposit back.

You might want to put in a reservation in the near future. I've got a 1419 (Nov 20), and figure I won't be getting a car until the '09's are out.
