New member from Denmark

Hello All.

Currently im a new member from Denmark.

Im a member of the smartclub Denmark, and have an Smart fortwo from 2008 cdi cabrio.
Alot of the smart 42 here in Denmark is the cdi version, it runs longer at km/l, and cheaper in taxes here in Denmark. :-)
(Cars in Denmark is expensive) :-/ mine cdi cab was 29300$.

So i just wanted to say hello, and will give mine modifications experience in the forum to help others with smartcar.

Welcome Carsten! It is always a joy to see others from other countries signing in here on the forum to share their stories. I wish the cdi was available here.

Nothing like some nice forum diversity, especially from those who've had the smart longer than the US. I wouldn't mind a cdi myself...

Hey Carsten!

I'm a new member too, but just a "couple" of miles north of you..
Em, on the south west coast of Norway to be exact.

Do you have some nice webshops from Denmark to recomend,
or is it cheaper to get the stuff directly from Germany?

I'm looking to buy a 2008 CDI from Germany in July,
so I am already vacuming the net for any relevant information ;-)
(And yes, cars are expencive in Norway too, an imported Pulse CDI will set me back about 13.600$, and the Pure model starts from 20.400 for a new one from the shop.. I'd rather save some money and buy a second hand with low milage)

It's nice seeing other owers from different parts of the globe own smart cars,I'll be in Copenhagen this fall for vacation,love see these great small cars everywhere I visit

Hi Smartfloridadad.

In cph there is still getting more and more smart cars in the street picture, nut not so many as in Berlin. Maybe if your lucky you will see me in the streets cruising around in my smart car. How many day's will you be in cph.?
I know some hotel's in cph does provide Smart car for their hotel guests, but im not aware which hotels who do.. :-)
