Hello,
We put in our reservation beginning of week.
This past weekend we test drove one in Sacramento at Smartcenter in Sacramento, Ca.
We loved it. The sales person was very good, and not pushy just very pleasant to talk with and spend the time we were there with.

I know it will be a long time and we can wait but we are starting to explore sites like this one.
It appears to be a great place to be part of.

I am not a big blogger but this site may change me.

Yes we reserved the Passion, with all the comfort package.
White with Black Tridion.
We live in Northern Nevada and it gets cold freezing in winter and hot in summer.
We commute together daily to work and look forward to cutting our fuel cost in half.
We love the safety features and report.

tomb1952 - Tom and Laura...You are going to enjoy, Uh - Love your smart! Mine handles like a sports car! With 1560 miles on it I'm starting to get gas milage in the 40's. I have the comfort package and the heated leather is great in winter. Lots of reservists here waiting for their car so you're among friends..Welcome!!

Tom and Laura- If you would consider taking an "orphan" (a car configured for another customer that was unclaimed) be sure to tell your salesperson you want to be placed on the dealer's orphan list. The dealer will call you when they have an orphan available, and you can decide whether you want it or not. Apparently, each dealer has its own policy on how to maintain these orphan lists. At the dealer I worked with, it appeared that each salesperson kept his/her own list. I kept bugging the salesman a couple of times a week, and within 3 weeks I was offered 2 orphans. The second offer was a car that was almost exactly what I wanted, and I'm picking up the car on Monday! So, if you are willing to compromise a little you may be able to get a car much more quickly.
